ETR 450 train 1 at Albacina (AN)

The Pendolino! Italy's quintessential electric train is the star of this instalment of "my" story for Christmas week. The scene shows set 1, operating an Eurostar from Ancona to Roma Termini, just before entering Albacina (AN) station. It was my first photo trip in the area, entirely by train and on foot, on 27 October 2010. Today these services are operated with ordinary rolling stock, and the ETR450s have all been put aside.
