E656 023 Roma Termini

Seeing and photographing E656 023 is always a great thrill for me. Knowing that it is "the first", knowing it was built in 1976 and still looks like this today, recalling the many photos I took of it in Sicily before it became historic, or at the first "historic" meeting in Florence in the snow... in short, a truly great machine! Here it is at Rome Termini with a movement of historic rolling stock for Pistoia.
