3. From Palagonia, using the internal access roads and passing alongside the NATO base at Sigonella, it is possible to reach the Catania-Caltanissetta line. Here the shot was taken just after the iron bridge over the Simeto river, showing ALn668 3001 working a regional train from Caltanissetta to Catania Centrale.
