After 150 km of the SS106 and a monumental traffic jam at Crotone, I arrived at Roseto Capo Spulico, hoping the light had not yet turned for the freight from Bari to Sicily... the answer was negative. My desperate search for a photo spot along the very difficult coastal road north of Sibari led me to an abandoned level crossing at Amendolara... mission accomplished, the photo is saved, and the gleaming E652 gave me a welcome helping hand.
