Description
A regular fixture for Ionian Sicily's railway photographers was the pair of regional trains 12826 Siracusa-Taormina and 12827 Taormina-Catania Centrale, always operated with older-series ALn668 railcars, as on 25 February 2008, when the unit in charge was ALn668 1606, taking the diverging route at 100 km/h shortly before Fiumefreddo di Sicilia station.
