D445 1063 and D445 1052 Rome Termini

The pair of D445s, on the other hand, was not an unusual sight at Rome Termini. Permanently coupled and fitted with automatic couplers at both ends, a pair of these locomotives was stationed every day at Rome Termini as a quick rescue option for any train on the recently opened high-speed Rome–Naples line.
