ÖBB 1144 009 Wien Meidling

I travelled from Wiener Neustadt to Wien Meidling on a D train (Schnellzug) formed of a CityJet driving trailer, eight mixed Intercity/Railjet coaches and, at the rear, the 1144 009. It is probably a fast reinforcement train, one of the many that run on the line between Wiener Neustadt and Wien. Air conditioning, power sockets, no intermediate stops and... plenty of space! Here the consist is photographed departing from Wien Meidling.
