17 June 2026: Afternoon towards Germany
The afternoon again includes shots on the Westbahn at Straßwalchen, then back to Kostendorf. Adverse weather then suggests an early transfer to Germany, where, at the border station of Braunau am Inn, we photograph a regional train with ordinary rolling stock and a tank wagon freight train, make a brief stop on the Simbach – Mühldorf line, and enjoy a tasty preview of the next day: the diesels around Tüßling.
