17 June 2026: Afternoon towards Germany
The afternoon again brings shots on the Westbahn at Straßwalchen, then back to Kostendorf. Afterwards, adverse weather conditions suggest an early transfer to Germany, where, at the border station of Braunau am Inn, we photograph a regional train with ordinary coaches and a tank freight train, a short stop on the Simbach–Mühldorf line and a tasty preview of the next day... namely the diesels around Tüssling.
