4 January 2008: ALn668 1401 test run

On 4 January 2008 two young enthusiasts had planned a journey from Sicily to northern Italy, trying to photograph some trains in the snow, which had fallen heavily at that time. Getting off an overnight train at Piacenza, they headed towards Pavia waiting for something to photograph. And, unexpectedly, the ALn668 1401 appeared at platform 3... engaged in a photographic test run! The accredited photographers, after seeing these two naive enthusiasts, decided to invite us on board and to accompany them on that wonderful adventure, with many stops between Pavia and Casalpusterlengo. A dream for the two Sicilians, an indelible memory of our railway passion.
