The high-capacity / high-speed line between Vienna and Salzburg is also used by freight trains despite the very heavy passenger traffic, thanks to the many possibilities for diverting onto the traditional line or for passing loops. An example is the tank wagon freight entrusted to 1016 027, which resumes from Tullnerfeld after giving way to faster trains.
