7 April 2006: Prologue to a trip to Puglia

7 April was the prologue to a trip to Puglia, which began at Catania Centrale with a journey on the Freccia del Sud to Agrigento Centrale, where we took some photos of rolling stock that has since disappeared, followed by the transfer to Villa San Giovanni and Reggio Calabria Centrale, to photograph the Calabrian sections of the night expresses from Sicily towards the North. The following day was to be a photography day in Puglia... and the day after that, a visit to the Open Day at Milano Smistamento. Other photographic and railway times...!
