3 and 4 December 2011: Trip to Tuscany
Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December 2011, a wonderful railway weekend in Tuscany, battling the clouds. The first target was 741 120 heading to La Spezia, escorted by the first outing of 656 001 in its heritage livery. Then Madonna dell'Acqua for the long-distance trains and the freights from La Spezia towards northern Italy, followed by a stop at Lucca station, all as a prelude to Sunday, when we chased 741 120 from Lucca to Piazza al Serchio.
