An ordinary Thursday in May 2008, wandering around by train in Sicily, between Giarre-Riposto, Taormina-Giardini, Acireale and Carruba, recording everything that passed: freights with E645 and E656, regional trains almost all worked by E646 and ALn668, and a special guest at Acireale, the last shunting moves of the D143 3048. Very little of what passed that Thursday 13 years ago remains today...
